Office Space Most of City Creek's 2.1 million square feet of office space was constructed prior to the current redevelopment project. A new six-story office building (Building Four) is nearing completion on South Temple on the ZCMI block (City Creek East). The ground floor of the Eagle Gate Tower on South Temple and State Street and the lower level of the new KeyBank Tower (36 S. State St.) have been remodeled to house retail shops and a new food court. Original plans to demolish the Deseret Building (also known as the First Security Building) on the corner of Main Street and 100 South were set aside. An extensive renovation has been completed and the building is ready for leasing. The 50 S. Main building (former KeyBank Tower) was imploded in August 2007 to make way for new residential and retail development. |
