Retail Two national department stores will anchor City Creek Center's retail offering. Nordstrom will occupy a two-story, 124,000 square-foot store located mid-block on West Temple. Macy's will be located on the east side of Main Street with a three-story, 150,000 square-foot store on the north end of the block near South Temple. Approximately 500,000 additional square feet of nationally recognized merchants and restaurants will line the pedestrian walkways and link the two anchor stores. Some retail areas will be open-air while others will have a retractable roof. Major retail leasing will be managed by Taubman Centers, Inc. Additional retail space in the ground floors of the office and residential buildings will be managed by City Creek Reserve, Inc. A full-service grocery store, including a deli, pharmacy, bakery, etc., will be owned and constructed by Harmons Grocery Stores on the south side of Social Hall Avenue, east of State Street. A food court is now open at 28 S. State Street between the KeyBank and Eagle Gate Towers. Vendors include A Taste of Red Iguana, Bocata, Chang, Chun, Great Steak, McDonald's, Roxberry, Sbarro, Subway, and Suki Hana. Hagermann's Bakehouse Cafe is open on the ground floor of Gateway Tower West on South Temple just west of Main Street. |
