The 222 Main office tower is Salt Lake City's most exclusive 22-story high-rise located in the heart of the Central Business District. The office area of 460,000 gross square feet includes 425,000 rentable square feet of office space. Typical office floors are 22,000 square feet each, with 40-foot lease depths and 9-foot ceilings. Street-level retail space is 9,000 square feet. The building provides column-free floor spans, allowing for efficient and flexible space planning.

The building was designed by the internationally acclaimed architectural firm of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill and has been designed to the highest environmental standards. The building was completed December 3, 2009 and is anticipated that the building will be awarded the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Certification, making the building Salt Lake City's first LEED Gold certified high-rise built from the ground up. The building is highly energy efficient, designed to operate 15 percent below the State of Utah energy code.

CB Richard Ellis will occupy the 4th floor, which is about 13,000 square feet. The building's anchor tenant will be the Denver-based law firm of Holland & Hart who will occupy the top three floors, comprising approximately 67,000 square feet. Another law firm, Brinks Hofer Glison & Lione, will occupy about 8,000 square feet on the 19th floor.
