THE LEONARDO

The Leonardo is a science, technology and art center for young people and adults located in the heart of Utah's capital city. With help from Salt Lake City voters in the form of a $10 million bond, funds from the Redevelopment Agency, as well as grants from FEMA and Rocky Mountain Power's Blue Sky program, renovations on the future home, the old Salt Lake City Main Library building, have begun and are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2010. When The Leonardo opens permanently in Spring 2011, it will offer on-site exhibits, workshops, classes, teacher training, field trips and special events that explore the multidisciplinary worlds of science, technology and art.
