Downtown Rising: The Next Ten Years

Over the last ten years Salt Lake City has seen a significant increase in development, from City Creek Center to 111 Main, these and other developments have played a crucial role in improving the vibrancy of downtown. The Downtown Alliance is proud to take part in making downtown Salt Lake City a better place to live, work, and play.

On February 15th, 2017, the Downtown Alliance will release its recommendations for an action plan known as Downtown Rising. Downtown Rising was first outlined in 2007 and now, ten years later, has completed the majority of the objectives it set out to accomplish. The Downtown Alliance strives to be an integral part of the downtown community, and continually works to improve the state of our great city. We are excited to make this new plan a reality, and are hopeful it will usher in another decade of success and vibrancy in downtown Salt Lake City.
